New Delhi, India - June 12, 2024 – The Annual Education Summit 2024, organized by The Economic Times, concluded successfully on June 7th in New Delhi. The two-day event, held from June 6th to 7th, brought together leading educators, industry experts, and policymakers to discuss the future of education and skills development in India.

The United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII®) participated as the Skill AI Partner, showcasing its commitment to advancing AI education and certifications. The event featured the much-anticipated launch of the book "Next-Gen Cybersecurity with Modern AI," co-authored by Dr. Milton Mattox, CEO of USAII®, and Mr. Ajit K Jha, Global Product Partner, USAII®. The book was officially unveiled by esteemed guests Dr. Bharat Bhaskar, Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and Dr. Kamal Kishore Pant, Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Dr. Milton Mattox delivered a compelling speech emphasizing the critical need to enhance AI education to equip students and professionals with the necessary skills for the future. He highlighted the significant market potential for AI in India, citing a BCG-Nasscom report that projects the AI market to reach $17 billion by 2027. However, Dr. Mattox pointed out a pressing challenge: 79% of companies are currently struggling to find the right AI talent. He urged universities and academic institutions to bridge this gap by offering relevant AI certifications, such as those provided by USAII®, to make their students more industry-relevant.

Dr. Mattox's insights resonated with the audience, reinforcing the importance of integrating AI education into higher learning curricula. The event served as a platform for meaningful discussions on how AI can revolutionize various sectors and the pivotal role of educational institutions in this transformation.

The Annual Education Summit 2024 concluded with a shared vision of fostering an AI-empowered future, where education and industry needs are seamlessly aligned. USAII's participation and contributions underscored their leadership in AI certification and education, inspiring educators and policymakers to embrace innovative approaches to skills development.
