PhysicsWallah's Offline Expansion

Alakh Pandey, the founder of PhysicsWallah, has revealed the introduction of its inaugural physical school. This new educational institution is set to welcome 400 students in its first cohort, with a primary focus on delivering a comprehensive educational experience that emphasizes innovation and cultural enrichment.

With an emphasis on helping students become well-rounded individuals, the school's curriculum will go beyond standard academics. It will involve activities that promote financial literacy and leadership, such as the Model UN, in addition to business initiatives.

The school's core values, according to Pandey, are "all-inclusive education, innovation, and culture." This calls for a comprehensive approach to education that fosters the intellectual, social, and personal development of its pupils.

The launch of a physical school marks a significant milestone for PhysicsWallah, which has primarily operated in the online space. This expansion into the offline realm demonstrates the company's ambition to provide a comprehensive educational experience for its students.

The PCOS-Friendly Cinnamon Kitchen

In a separate initiative, PhysicsWallah has lent its support to The Cinnamon Kitchen, a women-led brand that offers PCOS-friendly food products.

The Cinnamon Kitchen was founded in 2019 by Priyasha Saluja, who was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in 2009. After years of struggling with the circumstances, Saluja commenced documenting her adventure of healthy eating on Instagram, sharing recipes, recommendations, and lifestyle advice.

Inspired by her personal experience, Saluja launched The Cinnamon Kitchen, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand that offers a range of gluten-free, preservative-free, refined sugar-free, and flour-free, plant-based products. The brand's offerings include fudge, flourless almond cookies, energy bites, bread, and flour, catering to the specific dietary needs of individuals with PCOS.

Inspired by the non-public experience, Saluja launched The Cinnamon Kitchen, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand that offers quite a few gluten-free, preservative-unfastened, delicate sugar-free, and flour-unfastened, plant-primarily based products. The brand’s offerings include fudge, flourless almond cookies, power bites, bread, and flour, catering to the specific nutritional desires of individuals with PCOS.

In its first year of operation, The Cinnamon Kitchen recorded sales of Rs 1,40,000, which grew to Rs 12,50,000 the following year. The company is now expecting to close the current fiscal year (FY 2024) with Rs 6 crore in sales.

The partnership with PhysicsWallah is a sizeable boost for The Cinnamon Kitchen, as it affords the brand access to a much broader client base and sources to further expand its reach. This collaboration highlights PhysicsWallah's commitment to assisting lady-led organizations and addressing the particular fitness desires of its community.

Expanding into the MENA Region

In addition to its domestic initiatives, PhysicsWallah is also exploring opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The company is working to provide Indian healthcare services to the MENA market, leveraging its expertise and resources.

This flow aligns with the developing call for quality healthcare offerings inside the MENA region and PhysicsWallah's ambition to increase its reach beyond the Indian market. By supplying Indian healthcare understanding to the MENA region, the company's objectives are to address the healthcare needs of a wider population and diversify its sales streams.
