- Log out of QuickBooks and also close all windows corresponding to the company files.
- Verify that QuickBooks is updated to the latest release. If not, click on the Help menu, followed by hitting on Update QuickBooks Desktop. Follow the instructions and finally click on Get updates.
- Next, look for the Sync Manager folder on your PC.
- It is located in - Drive(C):/Users/username/AppData/Local/Intuit.
- Rename the Sync manager folder.
